CAYC Mission:
The CAYC is a student-founded, student-led pioneering organization whose mission is to:
Unite local youth commissions across California to share best practices and collaborate
Help establish youth commissions in towns without them
Lobby for legislation important for youth.
In our inaugural CAYC Summer Intern Program 2026, we had 56 interns from across California, from Redding to Irvine! We are focused on learning about the legislative process to amplify youth voice within our towns. The following CAYC Members lobbied 10 legislative offices for bills important for youth in CAYC.
